 I’m Maria Wright, and I started Wright Group Real Estate with one goal in mind—you. With nearly a decade of experience in the Sanford market, I’ve helped clients through every kind of real estate journey—first homes, dream homes, investment properties, and everything in between. My role isn’t just to handle the paperwork; it’s to make sure you feel confident, supported, and connected to the right resources, from trusted lenders to skilled tradesmen.

After college, I knew that real estate had to be a part of my life. My husband and I purchased our first investment property. Impassioned by big transformations I created a business reviving and refreshing a variety of spaces for others. I actually sold our properties without a Realtor and was an advocate of FSBO after being let down by hired agents. I saw the need for an above average type of service and combined all of my passions and became a Broker myself.

In 2020, our family moved to Sanford, NC for a real estate investment opportunity and we are enthusiastic about the growth taking place there! While I love to help clients make their home in the Sanford area as well, I also work frequently within the Greater Raleigh and Pinehurst areas.

When I'm not working, I can likely be found either at the beach, hiking with my husband and children, working on a reno project, or playing with my Yorkie Poo, Mack!
